Marshall Schmidt accepts a tenure-track assistant professor position at Montclair State University

Congratulations to Marshall Schmidt, who recently accepted a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in the Justice Studies Department at Montclair State University. Marshall will be starting at Montclair State in the fall of 2019, and will continue to do research and teach in the areas of white-collar crime, perceptions of crime, criminal sentencing, and perspectives on justice. Marshall will defend his dissertation, “Perceptions of Occupational Crime: Sentencing Recommendations and the Attribution of Responsibility for Occupational Offenses,” in the spring. Marshall’s committee includes Amy Kroska (chair), Stephanie Burge, Constance Chapple, Trina Hope, and Kermyt G. Anderson. Marshall will miss Norman but looks forward to weekend trips to Manhattan and all the pizza and bagel options northern New Jersey has to offer.

Well done, Marshall! We are all very proud of you!
