Lucy Donley

Lucy earned her B.A. in History from University of Oklahoma in 2018 as a non-traditional student, and afterwards went on to complete her Master’s in Library and Information Studies from OU in 2021. Before returning to college, she was busy working as a pediatric medical assistant at her local medical clinic and being a mom to her 2 children. It was while working in pediatrics that she discovered a love for working with and educating new parents and their children. The battle of misinformation in the healthcare industry is well known and the work in the clinic highlighted how significant this issue truly is. With a passion for information literacy, she re-entered higher education to earn her degrees. Now she strives to assist students at OU not only with understanding and planning their degree paths, but also to realize that success looks different to everyone.
