DeJon Knapp, LCSW, is the Program Manager of Haruv USA at the Anne & Henry Zarrow School of Social Work, University of Oklahoma. Haruv USA, part of the internationally recognized Haruv Institute in Israel, is a training institute dedicated to advancing the identification, prevention, and treatment of child abuse and neglect through interdisciplinary education for students and professionals. DeJon brings extensive experience from prior roles with Oklahoma Human Services Child Welfare, Youth Services of Tulsa’s Street Outreach program, and as Vice President of Safe Housing at Domestic Violence Intervention Services. She is a board-approved clinical supervisor, former MSW practicum instructor for OU, and a proud lived experience expert in child maltreatment and domestic violence, which deeply informs her work and advocacy.
