    Welcome to Education Abroad!

What Does the Education Abroad Office Do?
Our office is responsible for sending outgoing students abroad and receiving incoming short-term exchange students from partner universities around the world. Each of our advisers is responsible for a variety of countries, working with both the incoming and outgoing students for those regions.

What Models of Study Abroad Do We Have? We advise students about a wide variety of programs such as reciprocal exchanges, direct enrollment, faculty-led, OU in Arezzo and approved provider programs. Semester and year-long programs are an option, as are short-term and summer programs.  Available programs can be searched here.

Who Can Study Abroad? All University of Oklahoma students are encouraged to explore the possibilities for study abroad. We especially hope that first-year students will consider studying abroad their first summer with a Journey program!

Want More Information? Watch our General Information Session Videos, email a peer mentor or schedule an appointment to meet with a study abroad adviser about a specific program.

What if I want to be an exchange student at OU? If you are a student or colleague at a partner university, please look at the Incoming Exchange Student section of this site.
