Madeline is a PhD candidate at the University of Oklahoma working with CIWRO and NSSL to study the evolution of convective environments using observations and data assimilation. Her current research focuses on a tornadic QLCS case to examine how rapid near-storm environment changes can influence storm intensity and tornadogenesis. She has also participated in multiple field campaigns while at OU, specifically utilizing the Sparv Windsond and other sounding systems data collection in her research.
