Users of the Medical Imaging Technology Development Core (MITDC) and the Cancer Imaging Data Resource Core (CIDRC) are required to acknowledge COBRE support in all publications, posters, presentations, theses/dissertations, and reports that result from the use of Core equipment, technical support, data acquisition, analysis, or consultation.
Co-authorship should be offered to Core personnel when their involvement constitutes a significant intellectual or scientific contribution, including but not limited to:
experimental or imaging protocol design,
substantial data acquisition or analysis,
algorithm or software development,
interpretation of results,
contributions that meet standard authorship criteria established by journals and funding agencies.
Acknowledgment and appropriate authorship help demonstrate the impact of the COBRE investment and support continued federal funding.
