About

Rui Zhu’s research focuses on simulation, sensor-based modeling, and optimization of complex systems for process monitoring, outcome prediction, and decision support. Her research has broad applications in healthcare, manufacturing, public policy, and engineering education. She is a recipient of the NSF CAREER Award, and her research has been recognized with multiple awards from the IISE and INFORMS conferences.
