High school juniors and seniors with a 3.0 unweighted high school GPA are eligible to apply for OU Concurrent Enrollment.
Homeschool and unaccredited high school students: completed enough high school coursework to be equivalent to an individual who is classified as a junior or senior at an accredited high school.
For every semester that a student is wanting to take Concurrent Enrollment, we will need a new Concurrent Enrollment Recommendation Form (pdf) for each new semester.
The University of Oklahoma is test-optional*, meaning OU does not require applicants to submit standardized test scores. Admissions decisions will still be made for applicants who do not submit test scores. OU allows you to decide if you want your test scores considered in the evaluation of your admission application. When applying for Concurrent Enrollment, the applicant will be asked if they do or do not want standardized test scores used in the evaluation of their application.
* Due to OU Regents’ policy, an applicant cannot be considered test-optional for courses taught on the Norman High and Norman North campuses.
Students who are admitted without submitting ACT/SAT or Pre-ACT/Pre-SAT test scores cannot be guaranteed enrollment or placement in any certain course. Following their Concurrent Enrollment admission, test-optional students must take the required assessments through OU to demonstrate college readiness in a particular subject area. Students should sign up for assessments in iAdvise before their advising appointment. Visit the Academic Success Center website for additional information regarding assessments.
Meeting admissions eligibility does not guarantee course placements. To enroll in a college course, students must meet the following score requirements in the subject area in which they are enrolling.
