Chris Wheeler is a Project Manager at the Data Institute for Societal Challenges (DISC) at the University of Oklahoma, where he is currently overseeing his second Supply Chain Resilience project funded by the U.S. Air Force.
He holds a Bachelor of Music in Performing Arts Management from DePaul University and a Master of Business Administration from Arizona State University. Chris's career in higher education administration has included roles at Arizona State University and Sam Houston State University before coming to the University of Oklahoma in 2024. Additionally, he is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
Throughout his career, Chris has demonstrated a strong ability to manage complex, large-scale projects. He has played a pivotal role in shaping university scheduling policies, coordinating university-wide commencement ceremonies, establishing and staffing new academic departments, and managing sensitive collaborations with the U.S. Military.
Chris is committed to supporting innovation in higher education and contributing to the impactful initiatives at DISC and the University of Oklahoma.
