What Does the Education Abroad Office Do? Our office is responsible for sending outgoing students abroad and receiving incoming short-term exchange students from partner universities around the world. Each of our advisors is responsible for a variety of countries, working with both the incoming and outgoing students for those regions. One advisor works only with summer study abroad programs and participants.
What Models of Study Abroad Do We Have? Our primary model for study abroad programs is reciprocal exchange for one or two semesters. In contrast, our summer programs vary from one month of language immersion to faculty-led options that move from city to city within one country. Available programs are listed in the Programs Abroad section of this site.
Who Can Study Abroad? All University of Oklahoma students are encouraged to explore the possibilities for study abroad. Don’t make assumptions about whether study abroad will work for you -- check it out now!
What if I want to be an exchange student at OU? If you are a student or colleague at a partner university, please look at the Incoming Exchange Student section of this site.
