Band Day

Unfortunately, due to very high demand, Band Day tickets are now SOLD OUT.

If you would still like to participate, there is one alternative option:

Purchase game tickets through a third-party vendor, such as SeatGeek.
Email Dr. Eric Shannon at es@ou.edu regarding your Band Day participant.
Dr. Shannon will reply with the information needed to register the participant.
A payment of $14.70 must be mailed by check to OU Bands. Unfortunately, we do not have another point-of-sale option available for these registrations.

Please note that purchasing a game ticket from a third-party vendor does not automatically register someone for Band Day. You must also contact Dr. Shannon to complete the Band Day registration process.

The University of Oklahoma Bands and the Pride of Oklahoma are pleased to announce: BAND DAY 2026!

If you are a band student in grades 9-12, then you are invited to an electrifying experience! This isn't just another opportunity—it's your chance to dive headfirst into the heart-pounding world of the OU Bands and become a part of history in the making as you stand shoulder-to-shoulder with the legendary Pride of Oklahoma!

Come experience a roaring stadium of 83,000 fans! This isn't just a performance—it's a once-in-a-lifetime thrill ride, where you'll feel the rush of being part of a #nextlevel SEC marching band! Don't miss out on this exhilarating journey alongside the Pride of Oklahoma on Saturday, September 19, 2026!

Registration

To participate, you must register and purchase tickets through the link below by Friday, September 11 (end of day).

Participants should select the Performers Only option at the link below. Only one participant may be registered per order. If you are registering multiple participants, please complete a separate registration and ticket purchase for each participant.
Family members and friends may also purchase tickets via the link below (select the Parents/Family & Friends option).
High school band directors can register multiple students via the link below if paying by Credit Card, Paypal, Venmo, or Zip (select the option Directors Booking Full Band). If you need to pay by check or purchase order, contact Kyler Albert at the OU Athletics Ticket Office at 405-325-8329 or kyler.albert-1@ou.edu.

All orders will be processed on a first come, first served basis. Tickets are subject to availability.

Cost

The cost to participate is $70 for performers. A participant tickets includes:

The opportunity to perform with the Pride of Oklahoma at halftime on Owen Field.
A game ticket
T-shirt
Meal

Tickets can also be purchased for guests who want to watch the performance, at $60 each. Field access, t-shirt, and meal are available only for participants, not for guests.
