Frequently Asked Questions

The OU Food Pantry is located at 331 Cate Center Drive Norman OK 73072.

All current OU students, faculty, and staff are eligible to use the OU Food Pantry.

The OU Food Pantry's Fall & Spring hours are Tuesdays 8am-6pm & Wednesdays/Thursdays 10AM-6PM. Our 2025 Summer hours are Tuesdays only 10am-12:30pm & 2pm-4:30pm.

You will need to bring a valid OU ID.

How does it work? 

  • Student must appeal citation in question
  • Citation must be $50 or less
  • Must be 1st or 2nd citation of the (Academic) year
  • Food Pantry donation must be made prior to submitting appeal (appeals must be made within 14 days of issuance).
  • Student must provide proof that no less than 80% of the cost of the citation has been given to the food pantry in food items.  For instance, if a $50 citation is being appealed, the STC will need proof from the Food Pantry that at least $40 in food was donated to the food pantry in order for the citation to be voided.

Food insecurity refers to the lack of access to enough food or limited and uncertain availability of nutritionally adequate food.

Make an online donation through the University of Oklahoma Foundation or donate via our Amazon Wishlist . You may drop off donations during our hours of normal operation or you can email the OU Food Pantry at OUpantry@ou.edu directly to schedule a drop off time.

The OU Food Pantry is a managed by a team of OU students.

The OU Food Pantry is sustained through monetary and food donations from those who support our cause. We receive no funding from the University of Oklahoma.
