SCHOLARSHIPS and FELLOWSHIPS 2011

In 2011, 52 scholarships totalling $15,700 were awarded to Summer Session students, while two Summer Graduate Research Fellowships (i.e. each $2,500) were also awarded. We thank the Dr. Harley P. Brown Scholarship Fund, Joy Brown Catron Scholarship Fund, Barbara Shirley Scholarship Fund, Friends of the OU Biological Station Scholarship Fund, Carl and Patricia Bynum Riggs Scholarship Fund, Hill Biological Station Fund and Hauger Family Summer Graduate Research Fellowship Fund for their generous support of our students.

In addition to the above, Holly Gaines won a $1,000 voucher at the October 2011 Friends Celebration to help defray the costs of taking a 2012 Summer Session course at the Biological Station.
