From February 17 – 21, 2020, the Christopher C. Gibbs College of Architecture is hosting an All-College Food Drive Competition to benefit the OU Food Pantry.

All college divisions will compete against one-another, with the teams being as follows:
How to participate
Students, faculty and staff should drop off their non-perishable food donations in the Gould Hall Dean’s Suite (rm. 180) between February 17 – 21. Find the box with your team name on it, and place your donation inside before 5 p.m. on February 21st.
What is the prize
The winning team will receive a pizza party sponsored by the Haskell and Irene Lemon Division of Construction Science on February 26th.
What happens to your donations
All donations will be delivered to the OU Food Pantry, which provides sustenance to all OU students, staff and faculty in need of nutrition assistance.
The University of Oklahoma Food Pantry’s mission is to contribute to the overall health and wellness of the OU campus community by providing free supplemental food assistance.

Gibbs College of Architecture is proud to recognize Petya Stefanoff, who is pursuing her doctorate in the Planning, Design & Construction (PDC) program, has been appointed the new role of Director of Community Development for the City of Shawnee, Oklahoma. She joined the city in 2024.
Gibbs College of Architecture is pleased to announce that Amber N. Wiley, Ph.D., associate professor in the Division of Planning, Landscape Architecture and Design and director of the Institute for Quality Communities, has received national recognition for her book Model Schools in the Model City. The book has been named a finalist for the 2026 the PROSE Awards.
Gibbs College of Architecture Regional + City Planning Professor of Practice Vanessa Morrison and Associate Professor of Architecture Deborah Richards’ Open Design Collective received top honors at the inaugural BlackSpace Urbanist Collective Studio KIN Pitch Night Competition, held last month in Brooklyn, New York City.
