Construction Science Students Install Foundations for Collaborative Design-Build Project Benefiting the Osage Forest of Peace

Construction Science students from Professor Bryan Bloom’s design/build class recently installed the foundations for a new climate-controlled storage building at the Osage Forest of Peace.

The new building is the first realization of the forest’s campus plan completed last year by the Urban Design Studio, led by Shawn Schaefer.

Architecture students from Andres Cavieres’ studio contributed to the building’s design as part of the interdisciplinary effort in creating and making designs that impact the local community.
