Construction Science students enrolled in Dr. Anthony Perrenoud’s Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing class recently toured the Valero refinery plant in Ardmore, Oklahoma. The students learned about the refinery processes and career opportunities in gas and oil.

Students in the University of Oklahoma’s Haskell and Irene Lemon Division of Construction Science gain the project management expertise that is necessary for the critical turnover project that keep the plant running efficiently.

Thanks to our incredible hosts, Valero, especially Jen Swenton for her help coordinating the trip!
