MAILBOX INFORMATION

For optimal email system performance, the following policies apply to all OU Exchange mailboxes:

Deleted Items and Junk E-mail folders are automatically emptied every 14 days.

Items delivered to your Junk E-mail folder are accessible for 42 days. After 14 days, Junk E-mail items are emptied into Deleted Items and will remain there for 14 days (28 total). Using the recovery feature linked below, you can access these items for an additional 14 days.

If you do not have the Recover Deleted Items option, follow these instructions.

Message sizes sent from an OU Exchange mailbox cannot exceed:

50 MB for ou.edu recipients
25 MB for all other recipients

Recommended mailbox size: Less than 2 GB
