Fall 2025, Dr. Son Dang is a visiting scholar at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL), to develop DOE concept papers and proposals, focusing on sensing technologies for rare earth elements (REEs) and critical minerals (CMs) evaluation from ore bodies (ROCKS NOFO).
Fall 2025, PNNL and IC3 form partnership on studying critical minerals (CM) extraction comingled with enhanced oil recovery (EOR) from depleted oil & gas reservoirs.

This workshop will celebrate the life and technical accomplishments of Dr. Carl Sondergeld. Dr. Sondergeld left an unparalleled 40+ year legacy of technical achievements in the sciences of geophysics, rock physics, petrophysics, and petroleum engineering.
