NORMAN, Okla. – Several graduate programs at the University of Oklahoma are ranked among the best in the nation according to U.S. News & World Report’s 2026 Best Graduate Schools rankings. These include programs in the OU College of Pharmacy, the OU College of Allied Health and the Michael F. Price College of Business.

“These rankings reflect the impact our graduate students have every day in advancing discovery, driving innovation and strengthening Oklahoma’s future,” said OU President Joseph Harroz Jr. “Graduate education is central to our research and academic missions, and we are proud to empower scholars whose work is expanding knowledge and delivering real-world solutions.”

OU offers more than 260 master’s and doctoral-level majors through the OU Graduate College, designed to provide students with deeper expertise in their chosen field. The university is also strengthening its pipeline of graduate students and postdoctoral scholars who power its research enterprise – an effort aligned with the priorities outlined in OU’s “Lead On, University” Strategic Plan. This includes building stronger pathways for postdoctoral students to transition into faculty positions at OU, allowing the university to grow its research talent and strengthen the state’s scientific workforce.

“Our graduate programs are training innovators and leaders to support improved Oklahoma health outcomes, technological development, and economic growth,” said Randy Hewes, dean of the OU Graduate College. “We have been focused on growing and strengthening graduate education, and it is wonderful to see this reflected in the national rankings.”

OU College of Pharmacy
The OU College of Pharmacy ranked among the top 20% of all national graduate pharmacy programs in this year’s report and is the top-ranked Pharmacy program in Oklahoma. It now ranks No. 27 among all graduate pharmacy programs and No. 23 among public pharmacy programs nationwide.

OU College of Allied Health
The Occupational Therapy program in the OU College of Allied Health ranked No. 59 among programs across the country included in the rankings, up 20 spots from last year and placing it among the top 20% of occupational therapy programs nationwide.

Michael F. Price College of Business
Price College of Business’ Accounting program ranked No. 40 among all Accounting programs nationwide, placing it in the top 12% nationally and in the top 9% among all public graduate accounting programs across the country.
