U.S. Air Force Band and Singing Sergeants to Perform at OU on April 2

NORMAN, OKLA. – The University of Oklahoma Weitzenhoffer Family College of Fine Arts will host a free concert by the United States Air Force Band and Singing Sergeants at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 2, in Paul F. Sharp Concert Hall at the Catlett Music Center.

Presented in coordination with the OU School of Music, the performance is part of the ensemble’s national tour and will feature a program highlighting both instrumental and vocal selections. The program includes selections from The Wizard of Oz and Wicked, patriotic works and a tribute to U.S. Armed Forces members.

The OU School of Music is thrilled to welcome one of the nation’s premier military ensembles to campus,” said Caroline Hand, DMA, interim director of bands. “Our students and community will experience music-making at the highest level.”

Admission is free, but tickets must be reserved and may be purchased at online.
