New Sooner Orientation is the first step in the orientation process for every new student's successful transition to OU.
Set Up Your OU Account & Email
Visit one.ou.edu/activate and enter your Sooner ID (included in your admission letter) and date of birth to create your account.
Submit Your Enrollment Deposit
Incoming transfers must submit an enrollment deposit.
Log in to OU Bound
Log in to your OU Bound portal to keep track of important tasks and deadlines leading up to your first day of class. You can log in using your OU Net ID and password.
New Sooner Orientation for Summer & Fall 2026 has concluded. If you still need to be advised and enrolled in your Fall 2026 courses, please email newsooner@ou.edu to be connected with your degree granting college's advising team for available appointments.
