The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at the University of Oklahoma is a community for adults 50+ who want to keep learning, connect with others, and stay engaged.
OLLI offers a variety of affordable, non-credit classes, lectures, and activities in a relaxed environment—no tests, grades, or required textbooks. Courses are taught by university faculty and professionals from different fields.
All that’s needed to join is an interest in learning and meeting new people. OLLI is part of a nationwide network supported by the Bernard Osher Foundation.
Senior seminars provide a welcoming, course-like environment that celebrates a wide range of interests. From Shakespeare and Cinematic Theatre to Music in the Middle Ages, Cryptocurrency, and engaging discussion groups, there’s something for everyone to explore and enjoy. Each seminar runs four to six weeks, offering a fun and inspiring learning experience.
These non-credit courses are designed for adult learners, creating a supportive space to share experiences, connect with others, and dive into meaningful topics. Meeting weekly for about two hours, seminars offer a wonderful opportunity to learn, engage, and be part of a vibrant community that values every perspective.
Mornings with the Professor is a wonderful chance to connect with OU faculty in a relaxed, one-time session centered on topics they love to share.
Since 1989, this program has welcomed new OLLI members into a friendly space to discover all our community has to offer. You can join one or more sessions each semester, creating an experience that fits your interests.
Grab a cup of coffee and join us for meaningful conversations and new connections—we’d love to have you there!
