Who We Are

Mission

Higher education is a gateway to lifelong learning.

Precollegiate Programs at the University of Oklahoma creates opportunities for rising 1st - 12th grade students to immerse themselves in new ideas, collaborate with peers and faculty in world-class fields of study, and transform their understanding of what is possible in a collegiate environment. By partnering with community members, K-12 teachers, and faculty, we shape futures grounded in the belief that learning is a lifelong experience.

Values

Immersion

We immerse our rising 1st -12th grade students in spaces where they are encouraged to create, build, think and explore - while working in the spaces that the OU campus has to offer.

Collaboration

We collaborate with OU professors, graduate assistants, upperclass students and staff to provide camps, sessions and events that propel our students along the road to lifelong learning.

Transformation

Our programs help deepen understanding and confidence across disciplines via mentor-led projects in art, drama, and engineering that guide them toward becoming lifelong learners.
