Judicial Branch - Superior Court

The judicial power of the Student Superior Court shall extend to all cases arising under the SGA Constitution, under the acts of the Legislative Branch, and under University policy when such issues involve the SGA. The SGA Superior Court is charged with the specific duty of maintaining the integrity of the SGA Constitution. The SGA Superior Court is charged with the function of being the final appellant review of any action arising under the SGA Constitution and acts of the Legislative Branch.

SGA Presidents appoint judicial nominees after interviews with the President, Senate Chair, Congress Chair, General Counsel, and Chief Justice. The justices decide who will be the chief magistrate.
