The Jeanne Clery Campus Safety Act (Clery Act) is federal law that requires colleges and universities across the United States to disclose information about safety on and around their campuses, including certain crimes and hazing.
All public and private institutions of higher education that participate in federal student financial aid programs must adhere to compliance regulations and annually disclose campus crime statistics.
