Hello Golden Key Members!
I want to congratulate each and every one of you for achieving and maintaining academic excellence. Golden Key invites only juniors, seniors, and graduate students in the top 15% of their class to become members, and you should be extremely proud of your accomplishment!
Golden Key is more than just recognizing academic excellence. It’s about providing members with the opportunities to grow as a person and to be better prepared for life after college. The Golden Key mission is "to build global communities of academic achievers by providing opportunities for individual growth through leadership, career development, networking, and service". There are opportunities for leadership by serving as an officer or by helping plan service projects.
Here are just a few examples of all the great benefits that you receive as a Golden Key member. There are many scholarships available exclusively for Golden Key members. We offer guest speakers to provide you with tips for success in career services, and you can take advantage of career assistance through Golden Key's corporate partners. Golden Key recognizes academic success, and by being a member of Golden Key, the corporate world knows too! You even have the opportunity to attend Golden Key Conferences, both locally and internationally. Conferences give you the chance to network with over 1.5 million members from 335 colleges and universities from seven countries. Employers even come from all over the U.S. looking to recruit and hire our members because they know we cling to high standards of excellence in the classroom and community.
I highly encourage you to come and get involved with us. There are so many resources available to us as members, so I hope u will use them. Our officers are here to help you. If there is something that you want to see happen, please let us know and we’ll do our best to make it a reality! We want to bring in speakers and participate in service events that interest you, so we would love any input you have!
Once again, I congratulate you on your achievements, and I hope to see you at our next meeting or event! It's going to be an awesome year, and I’m excited about the direction our chapter is heading!
