Seth Prince is Student Media's director and adviser of the OU Daily's newsroom operations. Since returning to OU in 2014, he has also been an adjunct instructor for Gaylord College.

In 2023, he became the eighth person to serve as director since the role was created in 1930. Previously, he served Student Media in various advising roles, helping the Daily accelerate its evolution as a digitally driven news organization and Sooner yearbook transition into a nationally recognized magazine. In his tenure, Student Media staffs have earned seven Columbia Scholastic Press Association Gold Crowns, three Associated Collegiate Press Pacemakers, five College Media Association Pinnacles, 27 Hearst Journalism Awards honorees, 13 Associated Press Sports Editors' honorees and the Oklahoma Society of Professional Journalists' Carter Bradley First Amendment Award while more than 230 students have earned internships or job placements. The College Media Association recognized him as an Honor Roll 4-year Newspaper Adviser in 2017 and a Distinguished 4-year Newspaper Adviser in 2020.     

Previously, he worked in various roles at The Oregonian in Portland. He started as a copy editor, working on the investigative project on the U.S. Immigration and Naturalization Service that led the winning entry for the 2001 Pulitzer Prize for Public Service, writing the newsroom's Native American style guide and twice being named the organization's copy editor of the year. He then worked briefly as a reporter and assistant bureau chief before becoming assistant sports editor and finally sports editor, where he was tasked with leading the digital transformation of a 28-member department with a $1 million-plus budget. In 2015, work he led before departing earned a second-place honor for journalistic innovation in the National Headliners Awards. Staffers he hired have gone on to work at publications including Sports Illustrated, the Los Angeles Times, the San Francisco Chronicle, The Denver Post, The Philadelphia Inquirer, USA Today and The Athletic. 

A member of the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma and a 2000 OU journalism graduate who worked for Student Media while in college, he is an alumnus of the Poytner Institute's Leadership Academy, the Maynard Institute's Media Academy at Harvard University, the Newspaper Association of America's PowerMind Fellowship, the Dow Jones Newspaper Fund and the Chips Quinn Scholars program. 

He and his wife, Amy, live in Norman with their children, Jasper, Carter and Haddie.

Lynn Nguyen is the associate director and business adviser for Student Media, which encompasses advising the advertising and marketing operations as well as managing day-to-day business operations.

During her time as a student at OU, she was named Outstanding Student in Journalism for the fall class of 2003, a McMahon Memorial Scholar, a Scripps Howard Top Ten Scholar and a Chips Quinn Scholar. She worked as a visual journalist at various newspapers including The Seattle Times, The Oklahoman, The Dallas Morning News and The Kansas City Star and produced award-winning packages recognized by the Society of News Design.

In 2013, Lynn earned a master's of public affairs from Indiana University. She remained in Bloomington for several years to launch the IU Civic Leaders Center – a residential, academic program for students who are committed to civic engagement.

As a diversified professional who has served in the U.S. Peace Corps (Guatemala) and who has managed international accounts for a private-sector company, Lynn is thrilled to return to her roots at Student Media.

She lives in Norman with her precocious daughter, Ruby.

Michael Wehrenberg wears several hats for Student Media. He is Student Media’s on-site IT operations manager and production manager. Michael also serves as design adviser for advertising design and layout students.

Before coming to work for Student Media, he served as creative services director at The Edmond Sun and was co-owner of a web-based specialty printing business. Having worked in the newspaper/print industry for 23+ years, he has experience in the areas of advertising sales/marketing, advertising design, newsroom pagination, electronic prepress operations, safety and training.

In his personal life, Michael has enjoyed serving various events and community service organizations such as the Edmond Jaycees, the Oklahoma Jaycees, Edmond’s LibertyFest Fourth of July Festivals, the Children’s Center and the Muscular Dystrophy Association. Each week, he and his daughter volunteer their time for their church’s food pantry.

Michael lives in Norman with his daughter, Abby.
