We would like to welcome you to the website of The University of Oklahoma School of Community Medicine Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology in Tulsa, Oklahoma.  We are a full accredited program through the Accrediation Council for Graduate Medical Education.  Our department is an academically based, clinically driven program that primarily has two missions.

We are responsible for providing outstanding, customer friendly, medical care to the women of Eastern Oklahoma and their unborn children, as well as many women and their families from Western Arkansas, Southwestern Missouri, and Southern Kansas.

Equally important is our mission to provide a high quality, evidence based, education for our residency program in Obstetrics & Gynecology and teaching to medical students from The University of Oklahoma School of Community Medicine.

Our department is an integral part of the School of Community Medicine as we exemplify the mission of providing excellent care to our community, particularly for many of those who are among the less fortunate of our society.

Our high risk perinatal center is presently performing over 1,000 ultrasounds a month. Our gynecology program is equally as strong with sub-specialists in Urogynecology, Gynecologic Oncology, and Reproductive Endocrinology.  We provide many unique surgical and medical therapies to the problems that face the women of our region.  This high level of care also provides the opportunity for excellent teaching for our residents and medical students in the medical and surgical treatments of gynecologic conditions.

We are proud that we are considered to be one of the most successful departments in the School of Community Medicine.

We are fully committed to our faculty, our residents, and our staff to continue to improve as we strive to be an outstanding clinical department as well as one of the finest clinically based residencies in obstetrics and gynecology in the United States.
