Building Blocks for Success

Diane Horm, Ph.D., Director of the Early Childhood Education Institute at OU-Tulsa, discusses the ECEI’s work in the 2013 University of Oklahoma Research Report. The institute’s research focuses on evaluation of early childhood education programs and what components make them most effective for young children and families. In this video, Dr. Horm discusses the achievement gap between children from lower income homes and their more advantaged peers, and how early, high-quality education programs make a difference.

OU Named Top Public Research University

The University of Oklahoma is "one of the country's strongest public research universities," according to a newly released report from the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools, which awarded the University reaccreditation with no additional monitoring.
