The Union Programming Board is a student organization responsible for planning entertainment and social events for OU students in the Oklahoma Memorial Union. Events include movies, concerts, comedians and the annual Foam Party. They have an open membership with no applications and they accept new members year round.

Meacham Auditorium is a 360 seat, fully-equiped movie theater and auditorium on the second floor of the Oklahoma Memorial Union. The Union Programming Board and Campus Activities Council screen movies not yet available on DVD every weekend in Meacham auditorium for FREE! The Jan Marie and Richard J. Crawford University Club is a full-service restaurant located on the second floor of the Oklahoma Memorial Union. The Club offers lunch and social hour options and is also available for private events. OU alumni, faculty, staff, graduate students and friends of the university are invited to join the University Club's membership.

Limited Hours & Access


Out of an abundance of caution in response to recent concerns related to the novel coronavirus COVID-19, the Oklahoma Memorial Union will temporarily be operating with limited access and hours of operations. 

The OMU will be open from 10 AM - 12 PM with limited access throughout the building.

 

The Union Business Office is currently closed to in-person appointments. Our office will be checking email on a regular basis Please direct any questions or space inquiries to union@ou.edu. You should expect a response to your message within one business day.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause but want to assure you that we are committed to ensuring a safe environment for all Norman campus community members.

Events Suspended


Out of an abundance of caution and care for our community, the University has announced the decision to extend the suspension of all in-person events on all three campuses through at least July 31. This covers both University-sponsored and third-party events.

We recognize this is disappointing to many. This decision is in line with University actions already being taken to help curb the spread of COVID-19, including the extension of remote learning on the Norman campus through the end of the summer session, as well as the postponement of in-person graduation ceremonies.

If you have an event scheduled with the Oklahoma Memorial Union office, it will be canceled with no charges and you may contact our office to reschedule, 405-325-2121 or union@ou.edu.

A FANTASTIC WEDDING VENUE!

The Oklahoma Memorial Union has received The Knot's "Best of Weddings: Hall of Fame," distinction after receiving the 2018 "Best of Weddings" award! TheKnot.com is the premiere wedding planning and resource website and the "Best of Weddings," award is based on the reviews of brides and grooms. The Union received the award previously in 2013, 2014 and 2017. The Union is one of only four wedding venues in the state to receive the award.

Meacham Movies

The Union Programming Board and Campus Activities Council screen free movies every weekend in Meacham Auditorium. Students, faculty, staff and their families are welcome and free to bring snacks in to the auditorium. Visit the UPB Web site to see what will be coming this fall.
