Tulsa & HSC

Whether you're a first-year student, a transfer student, someone returning to school after being gone for a while, or a graduate student -- the Writing Center is here to help you. We serve students across all of OU's campuses, including Tulsa and the Health Campus.

The Writing Center works with writers in any course, at any level, at any stage of the writing process. This means we're here to help with your cyber security papers and your soial work case studies, and we're here to help you with pharmacy research articles as well as your fellowship and funding applications.

All OU students in Tulsa and at the Health Campus  are entitled to the same Writing Center services as students on the Norman Campus. We have ways to support your writing journey even if you are not local to the Norman area. Please take advantage of our remote service options. You can find out more information below by reading the page that pertains to your program level.

In addition to the services offered by the Norman Writing Center, the Health Campus also offers writing support for its students. Students can find out more about the services offered by the Health Campus Writing Center.

For course instructors and campus groups, the Writing Center also offers informational visits and class workshops. More information about those services can be found below as well under Events, Workshops, and Classroom Visits.

How can the Writing Center help you?

Individual consultations are available for any course, any project, and (almost) any time. The Writing Center offers video conferences for students to speak directly with a consultant. If you're unavailable during our operating hours, that's not a problem: the WC also offers asynchronous written feedback appointments.
