I love the sportsmanship and camaraderie that comes with the tradition of OU's NROTC running the game ball from the stadium in Norman, Oklahoma to Dallas for the Red River Rivalry game against Texas.

Your future is just beginning and there are endless opportunities in front of you. You have so much space to dream and just to get to know your strengths and passions better. I love the excitement and nerves that come with this preparatory & transitional time into adulthood and the professional world, and helping guide students through it.

Know that challenges are not only inevitable, but necessary for your growth and formation. When challenges come your way, I encourage you to, instead of avoiding them, face them with this question: "How can grow from this?" Remember what got you to this point, and also... don't be afraid to ask for help!
