Project Threshold has supported OU students since 1972. With the inauguration of the TRIO Center in fall 2022, the Division of Access and Opportunity highlights its commitment to serving students from disadvantaged backgrounds including low income, first generation college, and students with disabilities. Based on services funded by the federal government, TRIO programs at OU are designed to advance the academic success of eligible students from high school through post-baccalaureate education.
Currently, the OU TRIO Center encompasses Upward Bound, Project Threshold, and McNair Scholars, with plans to expand student outreach though both existing programs and additional TRIO grants.
Assisting high school students in reaching graduation and preparing for and applying to college. In summer, we offer an on-campus academic experience.
