Breyden is a Communications Specialist for the Division of Enrollment Management at the University of Oklahoma. Specifically, he works on mass marketing for the OU Polytechnic Institute on the OU-Tulsa campus and OU Engineering on the Norman campus. Growing up in Norman, Breyden is a Sooner born and bred. He went to Norman High School, attended OU, and graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Film and Media Studies and a minor in Professional Writing. Breyden is also a graphic novel writer and illustrator. He has several self-published works and multiple forthcoming projects at larger publishers. As a part of that, Breyden likes to stay involved with the local creative scene in Oklahoma. He currently serves on the board of the Oklahoma Comic Arts Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting and promoting comic book readership and creation in the state. As a Digital Director here, he assists with online communications.

What is your best advice for a high school junior or senior preparing to apply to college?

Wherever you decide to go, find your people! Campus is full of various organizations—chances are, someone shares your niche interests (and might even have a club all about them).
