B.A. in Psychology
University of Oklahoma
Class of 2025
I left my mark on campus as a student tour guide. Nothing beats the moment you realize a student chose OU because of you. Even the short time a student spends on campus during a tour can make or break their decision, and I loved creating an experience that helped them see OU as home.
I would define the OU family by its strong sense of belonging. I was so nervous coming in as a freshman at OU, and within the first week I felt so accepted by the community I found. Everyone belongs at OU!
I felt the most Sooner pride on graduation day. It felt so surreal as a first-gen student to receive the degree I had worked so hard for.
Easy—the people I met. From study abroad friends and fellow tour guides to professors, and even one of my best friends who I met on the shuttle to class, OU brought some of the most amazing people into my life, people who will stay with me forever.
Between the library and Evans Hall, there’s a quiet alley of trees and vines that is absolutely beautiful. I would always take the long way to class just so I could walk through it, and it became one of my favorite spots to study outside.
Honestly, anything to do with OU Football! Especially the hype videos right before the players run out, they always give me chills.
Be a YES person! Whether you are a senior in high school or starting your college career, say yes to everything. Try different clubs, meet new people, attend sporting events, and step outside your comfort zone. The experiences you say yes to often become the moments and memories that define your college journey.
