As a student, the most impactful time spent was with the Campus Activities Council. Before even beginning at OU, the CAC High School Leadership Conference allowed me to meet other like-minded individuals and created an opportunity for long-lasting relationships. My experiences and leadership roles within HSLC and CAC overall allowed me to create lasting memories and experiences for myself and others.
The OU Family starts before you even get to campus. Every friend, mentor and faculty or staff member is in your corner every step of the way as you navigate your time at OU. Even as alumni, this community continues to pour into and contribute to the success of each other.
Standing on the field as a member of Homecoming Royalty Court! I had looked up to many of the students before me who had been a part of homecoming in this way and experiencing it myself was so much fun!
I am incredibly thankful for the gift of my education. As a first-generation student, it was not always been an easy journey to earn a bachelor's degree. I am grateful every day for the opportunity to call myself an alum of the University of Oklahoma and to be a part of this community.
The Western History Collection has one of the most extensive collections of American Western history in the United States. Even if you're not a history buff, there is surely something you can enjoy in the space!
I am a huge fan of the Pride of Oklahoma and the spirit they bring to OU events!
Take it all in and say yes to new things! Don't be afraid to make a spontaneous trip with your friends from class or to join a club that you may not be sure about- you never know what relationships and memories could come out of it!
