What's your educational background?

University of New Mexico
Bachelor of Arts in Intercultural Communications
Minor in Interdisciplinary Liberal Arts
Class of  2023

As a student, where did you leave your mark on campus?

I left my mark through my journalistic investigations looking into how COVID-19 affected my campus as well as the city around me. Most notably, I wrote about COVID-19's effect on Native American students in New Mexico and how they balanced COVID-19, school, and their duties to their communities.

Define the OU Family in your own words.

OU Family is the feeling of familiarity every time I walk on campus. I grew up running around the North Oval and perusing the Fred Jones. Now that I'm back as an adult, it feels like I never left.

When was the moment you felt the greatest Sooner pride?

In the 2017 Women's College World Series, my dad and I were able to watch the final from the left field.

What was the greatest gift you took with you after graduation?

The Art of Organization! It's important to keep your mind and time organized and nothing helped me better than balancing both college and working.

Reveal one secret about campus.

There is a secret message written on the sidewalk on the North Oval

What is your favorite OU tradition?

Avoid walking under the clocktower

What advice do you have for prospective students?

Don't be afraid of having more than one interest! Part of what helped me grow in college was not putting myself in a box and taking classes outside my degree path that interested me.
