As a student, where did you leave your mark on campus?

Gaylord College is where I spent most of my time at OU and where I left my mark. Through an amazing journalism program, I was able to tell important stories that had a lasting impact on OU Nightly viewers.

Define the OU family in your own words.

To me, the OU family means a sense of belonging that you can really feel everywhere on campus. From your peers in your classes wanting to help you to the student section in the stadium. Everyone really works to make you feel welcome.

When was the moment you felt the greatest Sooner pride?

When I graduated with an amazing class! I was so proud of the work we did in Gaylord College, and I knew we would all go on to do amazing things in our careers.

What was the greatest gift you took with you after graduation?

The most valuable gift I received from OU was knowledge. The greatest thing that OU offers is access to experts and industry connections that help deepen your understanding of your field.

Reveal one secret about campus.

The best "secret" is the Chick-fil-A buffet in Couch Restaurants.

What is your favorite OU tradition?

Game days! The energy that surrounds the stadium before kick-off is electric and infectious.

What advice do you have for prospective students?

Really take the time to deeply research majors and colleges. The more passionate you are about your academic experience, the more you'll enjoy classes and connecting with your peers.
