The Oklahoma State Regents’ Institutional Nominee award is by selection-only, as a limited number of awards are funded annually by the Oklahoma State Regents’ for Higher Education.
A direct from high school senior will be considered for this award for Fall 2026 if they meet one of the following:
Qualifying test scores must come from an official test score report.
For Fall 2026, each student selected for the Regents’ Institutional Nominee award receives a $4,000/yr (x4 years) cash award from the Oklahoma State Regents’ for Higher Education plus a 100% resident tuition waiver from OU for 5 years (total package value: $42,850) for fall/spring semesters only.
Students selected for the Regents’ Institutional Nominee award are encouraged to retest on the ACT/SAT through July 2026 to become eligible for the Oklahoma State Regents’ Automatic Qualifier package, an upgrade to a $57,650 package.
Oklahoma Residents who transfer to the University of Oklahoma and are receiving the Oklahoma State Regents’ Rising Scholars Award or the Oklahoma State Regents Institutional Nominee award are eligible to continue receiving their scholarships at the University of Oklahoma. They should complete the Transfer of Scholarship request with the Oklahoma State Regents, linked to start that transfer process.
Students receiving the scholarship as an Institutional Nominee of a two-year college are eligible for transfer to a four-year public or private Oklahoma institution after completion of an associate's degree or the accumulation of at least 48 credit hours. Institutional Nominees of a two-year college must attend the nominating institution for the first year.
Admitted transfer students who have the Oklahoma State Regents’ Institutional Nominee Award must complete the Transfer of Scholarship request with the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education. This request form will share that they are planning to transfer and wish to have their Institutional Nominee Award transferred to the University of Oklahoma.
Students receiving the scholarship as an Institutional Nominee of a two-year college are eligible for transfer to a four-year public or private Oklahoma institution after completion of an associate's degree or the accumulation of at least 48 credit hours. Institutional Nominees of a two-year college must attend the nominating institution for the first year.
Students receiving the scholarship as an Institutional Nominee of a four-year university are eligible for transfer to another Oklahoma institution after one year of attendance at the nominating institution.
