Resident National Merit Finalist Scholarship

• Waives 100% of resident tuition
• May be used for five years (fall, spring, and summer)
• Must maintain a 2.0 cumulative GPA, be enrolled full time, and complete at least 24 OU credit hours each academic year
• Can be used toward any graduate/professional program at OU if funds remain after completion of undergraduate degree. Student must be admitted to graduate program on own merit

• $3,600 per semester/$7,200 per year for four years to help reduce the cost of fees
• Funded by the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education and is subject to change
• Must maintain a 3.25 cumulative GPA, be enrolled full-time, and complete at least 24 OU credit hours each academic year
• Can be used toward any graduate/professional program at OU if funds remain after completion of undergraduate degree. Student must be admitted to graduate program on own merit

• $1,250 per semester/$2,500 per year for four years to help reduce the cost of fee
• Must maintain a 3.25 GPA, be enrolled full-time, and complete at least 24 OU credit hours each academic year
• Can be used toward any graduate/professional program at OU if funds remain after completion of undergraduate degree. Student must be admitted to graduate program on own merit

• National Merit Finalists are offered one of three possible awards: College Sponsored, National Merit Sponsored, or Corporate Sponsored.
• OU will award funding to ensure a total value of $5,000. See back for additional information on awards and disbursement
• Must maintain a 2.0 cumulative GPA, be enrolled full time, and complete at least 24 OU credit hours each academic year
• This cash stipend cannot be used toward any graduate/professional program at OU

• Must live in the OU residence halls to receive this award. Available first year only

• One-time award applied to Bursar account at the beginning of the first year

• Can be used for an approved undergraduate for-credit research experience or as a one-time travel-study stipend when you enroll at an OU International Study Center, in a faculty-led program, or at one of OU’s many partner universities worldwide.

All amounts are subject to change. This scholarship does not cover the full cost of attendance. If you receive outside scholarships, those awards will be added to the above $79,650 offer. Overall aid awarded by OU cannot exceed financial aid cost of attendance. Updated October 2025.
