The University of Oklahoma announced that the Class of 2030 is the largest freshman class in university and state history, marking six consecutive years of record class sizes and four straight years of record Oklahoma freshman.

As we welcome the largest group of first-year students in our university's history, we're energized by the potential they bring and the success they'll achieve both inside and outside the classroom. I have a strong family connection to OU. Even though I'm from out of state, both my dad and my sister graduated from OU. Growing up, I'd hear stories about my dad's time at OU, and I got to see firsthand how my sister flourished here. OU is a strong academic and research university, and they offered me a generous National Merit Scholarship Package to help further my academic career. Finally, OU has a very active student life scene, and I'm excited to join some of the many different student organizations on campus.
