Chemistry was the subject that fascinated me the most during my school years. With high hopes of expanding my knowledge, I moved ahead to get my bachelor's degree in chemistry. Because of the great academic environment, my interest in chemistry was piqued and I gained an immediate interest in medicinal chemistry. Because of the vast applications of synthetic organic chemistry in drug discovery, my curiosity has driven me to read organic chemistry with zeal since then. In addition, I was fascinated by the complexity of molecules and the chemical and biological processes that occur within them, which sparked my interest in Biochemistry.

I am currently rotating in Dr. Shanteri singh’s lab where I am working on chemo-enzymatic chemistry.

My plan after graduate school is to go for my Post-doctorate degree.
