I became interested in chemistry when I was a kid. My dad was showing me pictures out of a chemistry book to try and get me to fall asleep. One of the pictures was of a fullerene, a molecule that looks like a soccer ball. I thought it looked really interesting and wanted to know more about chemistry from that point on. I am working with Dr. Shao focusing on spin-crossing reactions. After graduation I plan to become a research professor.
