The curiosity of knowing how and why things is happening around me, drew my interest towards learning biochemistry.
I work under guidance of Dr Rakhi Rajan. I am a 2nd year Graduate student from Structural Biology division. My research focuses on analyzing the structure- function relationship of CRISPR-Cas proteins. I use different biochemical and structure determination techniques such as cryo-EM and crystallography to understand the molecular interactions between Cas proteins-RNA-DNA.
Post- graduation, I aspire to continue research in an academic setting.
