B.S., Chemistry, Tribhuvan University, Nepal
M.S., Inorganic Chemistry, Tribhuvan University, Nepal
I completed my M.Sc. in Chemistry at Tribhuvan University, Nepal, where I conducted research on the adsorptive removal of hexavalent chromium (Cr(VI)) from water using biosorbents derived from Arundo donax. My work involved analytical techniques such as FTIR, XRD, SEM, Zeta Potential Analysis, and UV-Vis spectrophotometry, and was supported by the Master Research Support Grant (2021). This research resulted in peer-reviewed publications and deepened my passion for sustainable chemistry and environmental remediation.
Following my master’s degree, I joined the University of Oklahoma as a Ph.D. student in Chemistry. Here, I am expanding my expertise in inorganic chemistry, organometallic and materials science through advanced research and coursework.
My long-term goal is to return to Nepal as a research professor to promote sustainable industrial development and environmental protection. I am dedicated to uplifting the slowly growing Nepalese scientific community and aim to collaborate with institutions like NAST and RECAST to foster impactful research and innovation that benefits my home country.
