I chose chemistry because I am fascinated by how molecules function in biological systems. During my master’s studies, I focused on the design and synthesis of small-molecule compounds and evaluated their anti-tumor and anti-metastatic activities in cell and animal models. These experiences equipped me with skills in organic synthesis, cell-based assays, and animal experiments. In my PhD studies, I hope to further build on my background in medicinal chemistry and explore molecular mechanisms in disease research and drug discovery.
