We support the Department by working with Faculty, Staff, Post Docs, Graduate and Undergraduate students that work with scientific research equipment used in the department for research and teaching.
When there is a problem with equipment we have a Trouble Report (treport for short) form that can be completed (make sure to save/download the blank form to your computer first) and submitted to us by sending it to email@example.com. This will enter the request into our queue of work. The form can be accessed here and submitted anytime to firstname.lastname@example.org. When you fill out and properly submit the treport form it starts the documentation process giving us a date, contact person, location of the equipment, description of the problem and the name of the person responsible for the bill of labor and parts. It is important that the treports be filled out to the fullest so we have the most information available to us and your repair is not delayed due to the lack of complete information. When your treport comes up in our queue we will get with you and coordinate the repair.
