Through grants, publications, honors and research projects, the faculty represents the finest combination of excellence in teaching and research. Professors in our department have won numerous awards, including several prestigious university teaching awards. The department also is home to several Fulbright scholars. Our faculty includes some of the finest and most respected academicians within the field of communication. OU communication scholars have produced a prolific amount of research, with many books, journal articles, book chapters and convention papers - rivaling any program in the nation.
The Department of Communication welcomes the opportunity to have affiliate members from other departments on campus.
