What is Graduate Student Research Fellows Program?

The Graduate Student Research Fellows (GSRF) program, coordinated by the Women’s and Gender Studies Center for Social Justice, is an exciting opportunity for graduate students across all disciplines at the University of Oklahoma. This program fosters interdisciplinary collaboration and provides a supportive space for students conducting research with a social justice focus.

Graduate Fellows benefit from: 

  • Mentorship and networking with faculty and peers
  • Professional training, mock interviews, and job talks
  • Monthly evening meetings
  • Spring semester research poster presentation

All OU graduate students committed to advancing social justice through their research are encouraged to apply.


How to Apply

Applications are being accepted for the 2026-2027 GSRF program. 

To apply, you will need to use the appilcation form to upload a CV and a statement of research interests and how they relate to social justice issues.

GSRF FA26 Meeting Schedule (all meetings @ 6:00 pm):  August 5th, September 8th, September 22nd, October 6th and 20th, November 3rd and 17th, and December 1st, 2026. Spring dates TBD.

The application deadline for the 2026-2027 GSRF Program is May 15, 2026.
