Justin Stuart is a Ph.D. Student in the University of Oklahoma’s History Department. Originally from the Sunshine State, his academic journey began with a B.A. and M.A. degrees in history, which he earned at the University of North Florida. His research centers on the relationship between society and the environment. His forthcoming dissertation analyzes how environmental and demographic changes and shifting agricultural practices shaped Florida’s citrus industry after 1950.
